Contact Towntalk
TownTalk began life as a project created by town centre managers, for town centre managers. It recognised that most regeneration professionals are already over-stretched, working on their own or in small teams to promote their town centres.
There are many excellent town centre web sites on the internet, but TownTalk's depth of experience in working at street level, provides Town Centre Managers with a dependable resource that is more than just a web site. Just look at the benefits.
Controllable and immediate
Thanks to our unique Content Management System, TCMs have instant access
to be able to add or edit information in just a few minutes.
Full of exciting features
TownTalk web sites carry a whole array of
interesting features and information, all focussed on the town centre
itself. Whereas Council sites or regional sites have a wider area of
interest, a TownTalk site is designed to specialise solely upon
the town centre itself. This focus is what makes the sites so popular.
Visitors know what they are looking for and they know what to expect.

(link to Features section; possibly lower down)
Always up to date
The sites incorporate a fully automated archive system,
ensuring that news and events are automatically removed
when their time is up, saving time (and embarrassment).
The Shopping and Business directory can be kept up to date,
quickly and easily, whenever a change takes place.
Getting the message across
Of course all web sites publish information, but
a TownTalk site enables stakeholders and members of
the public to receive relevant items of news, including,
for example, agendas for meetings and special retail offers.
Information is automatically sent electronically saving time
and money in administering and distributing information the
conventional way. Newsletters too, can be published and distributed on line.
Inclusive and engaging; Every business and organisation in town
can have their own dedicated web page, encouraging greater
participation in the work of the town centre team.
Shared Resource
although the Town Centre Manager controls the overall
content of the site, selected stakeholders can be given
their own passwords to enable them to participate in the
project. They can add news and events details, and help
to spread the work-load for the busy TCM in numerous
ways; off-line as well as on line.
Sustainable
Town Centre Managers can even generate a sustainable
income stream using the web site, offering advertising
and sponsorship opportunities that generate real results
for local businesses and real revenue for cash-strapped
town centre partnerships.
Support
Of course as a member of the TownTalk network,
TCMs have a comprehensive support package; technical,
creative and marketing. We're not only here
to maintain the web site, but to offer a complete
service geared towards the needs of the Town Centre Manager.
